Tessellations - 5th Grade

We are beginning our tessellations.  The students are creating a tessellation key using a 3x5 card. these are cut to 3x3 and then patterns are cut into the sides.  These keys will be used to trace the shape repeatedly onto the base of the tessellation and will be colored in using the colors selected in the previous assignment where we studied complementary and high contrast colors.
